World Intermediate Aerobatic Championship 2025, Heviz

Zeitraum: 12. – 20. September 2025

Die Weltmeisterschaft der Klasse Intermediate fand dieses Jahr in Heviz, Ungarn, statt. Das Starterfeld war mit über 32 Piloten aus aller Welt sehr stark besetzt, und das Niveau dementsprechend hoch.

12.–13. September:

Anreise, Registrierung und erste Trainingsflüge. Das Wetter war zu den offiziellen Trainingsflügen und am ersten Wettbewerbstag stabil und sehr gut fliegbar. Leider änderten sie die Bedingungen nach dem ersten Wettbewerbstag und das Wetter wurde wechselhaft, mit starkem Wind, tiefen Wolken und Regen, sodass die ersten Wettbewerbsflüge unterbrochen wurden. In der Zeit konnten Figuren für das zweite Programm vorgeschlagen werden und mit dem zusammenstellen einer gut fliegbaren Sequenz begonnen werden.

15. September:

Der erste Wertungsflüge stand an, ich brauchte etwas Zeit, um mich auf die geänderten Bedingungen und eine andere Hauptachse der Kunstflugbox einzustellen. Leider passierte ein kleiner Fehler und eine gerissene Rolle stoppte etwas spät. Das kostete somit wichtige Punkte.

17. September:

Nach dem Ruhetag stand der zweite Flug auf dem Programm. Das erste unbekannte Programm, keiner der Piloten konnte das Programm trainieren, der erste Versuch muss sitzen. Meist liegen mir die unbekannten Programme sehr gut, doch es sollte anders kommen. Erneut eine gerissene Rolle, die mir diesmal eine komplette HZ bescherte. Somit Programmunterbrechung und weitere Strafpunkte.

19. September:

Finaltag, aus Zeitgründen wurde das 4. Programm gestrichen und somit sollte das dritte Programm mein letztes werden. Ich konnte diesmal einen fehlerfreien und soliden Flug zeigen, die Schiedsrichter entdecken jedoch jede kleine Abweichung. In der Programmwertung belegte ich den 19. Platz und insgesamt über alle Programme in der Gesamtwertung den Platz 25.

Fazit:

Die Teilnahme an der WM war für mich ein wichtiger Schritt in meiner fliegerischen Entwicklung. Ich habe wertvolle Erfahrungen gesammelt, internationale Kontakte geknüpft und viele Anregungen für das weitere Training mitgenommen.
Mein Dank gilt dem Österreichischen Aero Club, sowie der Heeresportfliegergruppe Kondor.

Landetraining Gebirgspiloten

Am 7.März fand unter der Leitung von Hans Fröschl das jährliche Landetraining für die Gebirgpiloten der SFG Kondor statt. Auf Grund der gesperrten Graspisten in LOXZ mussten wir nach LOGT ausweichen, wo wir hervorragende Bedingungen vorfanden. Ein großer Dank gilt dem ASFC – Leoben/Timmersdorf für den netten Empfang und die Betreuung an diesem Nachmittag.

Night VFR Schulungen mit der Bristell BR23 Turbo

Seit Herbst 2024 wird wieder eine Night VFR Ausbildung angeboten. Acht motivierte Flugschüler werden von unseren Fluglehrer bei Flügen nach Sonnenuntergang ausgebildet. Die Flüge finden mit der Bristell BR23 OE-AAB statt. Die Flüge finden in Zeltweg (LOXZ), Graz (LOWG) und Klagenfurt (LOWK) statt.

Österreichische Meisterschaften 2018

Die österreichischen Meisterschaften im Motor- und Segelkunstflug fanden dieses Jahr vom 5. bis 9. September in Spitzerberg statt. Unter den 25 Teilnehmern waren auch 3 „Kondorianer“ vertreten: Roland Kastenhuber (EA-300) und Clamer Fredrik Meltzer (Pitts S-2A) in der Intermediate Power Klasse, und Erik Esser (EA-300) startete in der Advanced Power Klasse.

Die Teamwertung gewannen die KuK Hofkunstflieger vor Kondor und den Innsbrucker Segelfliegern.

In den Einzelwertung Intermediate Power erziele Roland Kastenhuber den großartigen 2. Platz hinter Christian Auer und vor Mario Klocker. Clamer Fredrik Meltzer lag punktemäßig auf dem 3. Platz (lizenzbedingt nicht in der Wertung).

Die Advanced Power Wertung entschied Volker Fuchs für sich, knapp gefolgt von Erik Esser.
